Why The Process Matters

Specialty materials respond differently to heat input, oxygen exposure, filler selection, cleanliness, and weld sequencing. Titanium and high-purity stainless work, for example, require disciplined shielding and purge control. Nickel alloys often require tighter heat input control and the correct filler metal. We review the requirements before work begins so the procedure fits the material and service.
