We don’t have a strict minimum, but very small projects—single fittings or minor repairs—may not be the best fit for what we do. We offer both shop fabrication and field installation support. Much of our work is built in the shop and installed by the contractor’s crew, but we can also help with field welding, tie-ins, installing prefabricated assemblies we built, shutdown support, or field-fit work that cannot be completed in the shop.

It makes sense for Synergy to handle installation when the contractor wants continuity from fabrication to final fit-up, needs another experienced opinion, or is not comfortable handling a specialized piping scope alone.

For smaller assemblies, we can arrange shipping via common carrier with appropriate packaging and protection to prevent damage in transit. For larger or more complex assemblies, freight forwarding or specialized transport may be required, and we’ll coordinate logistics based on project specifics. For local projects, we can deliver directly using our own vehicles. If your project involves field installation, our crews bring the assemblies with them. We’re flexible and work out logistics that make sense for the project size, destination, and timeline.

Sometimes, depending on material availability and shop capacity. Expediting usually involves prioritizing your work in our schedule and possibly paying premiums for expedited material procurement or overtime labor. We’re honest about what’s achievable—if a timeline isn’t realistic, we’ll say so rather than overpromising and underdelivering. If you’re working with a tight deadline, let us know upfront and we’ll discuss whether we can accommodate it, possibly through expedited material procurement or prioritized scheduling.

For skid or modular work, tell us whether the project is fabrication-only or turnkey, who supplies material, valves, instrumentation, paint, insulation, electrical, and field installation, and whether hydrotesting or witness points are required.

We handle pipe sizes from small-bore tubing (1/4″ and up) through large-diameter pipe, typically up to 24″ diameter, though larger sizes can be accommodated depending on the specific application and project requirements. Our equipment is sized for the work most contractors need, and when exceptionally large or heavy components are involved, we can discuss logistics and whether subcontracting certain operations makes sense.

We work with carbon steel, stainless steel 304/304L and 316/316L, chrome-moly, duplex stainless, titanium, nickel alloys such as Hastelloy and Inconel, copper-nickel, and other specialty materials when the project requirements and qualifications are clear.
